BLINKERS ON RACING STABLE

NEWS

Blinkers On horse racing partnership heads to the the April OBS 2-year-old in training sale on 4/25. New partnerships will be forming soon after!

Is it time to make the move from spectator to owner? If you have been thinking of becoming an owner in a Blinkers On horse racing partnership the opportunity is right around the corner. New partners will be admitted for the first time in over a year after we add to the stable at the OBS Spring sale being held 4/25- 4/28 in Ocala Florida. The team will be in Ocala evaluating under tack workouts, including stride analysis, as well as doing physical inspections and pedigree work. Blinkers On has purchased multiple stakes winners from this sale including multiple Grade 1 winner Turbulent Descent. We feel this sale offers some of the best values because there are over 1200 horses in the sale and the money gets spread around. It takes a lot of hard work with that many horses to inspect but that's how you find the "diamond in the rough". You can sign up on our homepage to be alerted when the new offerings become available. In other racing news...Gee Street will be the next Blinkers On runner to go to post. She will be entered to run in a MSW (CA) race going 6 1/2 furlongs on the Santa Anita downhill turf course on 3/30. We really were looking to stretch her out to a mile but the race wasn't in the condition book. If we find out the racing secretary will be writing a mile grass race early in the next book we will wait to run. Next up will be Gator Don't Play in a MSW (CA) race sprinting on the Santa Anita main track on 4/1. We were also looking to go farther on the grass with "Gator" so we may call an audible on this race as well. Next will be Plane Luck in a first condition allowance race on 4/8 at Santa Anita. This race is at 6 1/2 furlongs. We were looking for 5 1/2 or 6 furlongs with her gas and distance limitations but again the racing gods were not helping out. We will be playing that by ear. Finally, Decoded and our stakes winner, Right Hand Man, will be coming in from the farm next week to resume training. Great to see them back on the racetrack!
