BLINKERS ON RACING STABLE

NEWS

Favorite Kiss at Midnight prevails late in game fashion for Maiden score at Santa Anita. On deck, Salute to Summer at Golden Gate Fields.

Kiss at Midnight, in her first start, earned a hard fought win at Santa Anita yesterday. Kiss at Midnight was squeezed at the start, stalked inside then just off the rail, came three deep into the stretch, bid outside foes past mid-stretch under urging and gamely prevailed late. Quite a feat after a serious stall accident as a yearling to come out and win at Santa Anita, congratulations to the Blinkers On Partners!

In other racing news...Salute to Summer will head back to the starting gate on 1/17 to try and get that elusive first win. She has been runner up twice in a row after running a winning race. I have a good feeling about this race! Goose Bumps is training forwardly at Santa Anita after her brief freshening on the farm. Off the Deep End is back with Peter Miller at SLR after knee surgery, glad to get him home. True Visionary and multiple stakes winner, Red Outlaw, are on the farm and will be back in action late spring/early summer. Our newly turned 2 year olds are doing great at Magali Farm and will head to the racetrack to begin there serious training in mid February. And for those of you looking to get involved in our partnership, we will be attending the 2 year old sales this spring and new offerings will be available at that time. I am sorry for those that got shut out this year, we just haven't been able to purchase enough horses that we can "check all the boxes" on. Again, I apologize for that, hopefully in 2015 we will uncover more opportunities.
