BLINKERS ON RACING STABLE

NEWS

Off the Deep End, a Blinkers On homebred, and jockey Joe Talamo team up Friday night in a 5 1/2 furlong sprint at Santa Anita!

Off the Deep End, our 3 year old son of In Excess, will make his debut at Santa Anita on Friday 6/6. This is a 50K Maiden Claiming race for Cal Breds going 5 1/2 furlongs on Santa Anita main track. Jockey Joe Talamo will be in the irons. He has been training great, all systems are a go! Nothing to Hide is being targeted for a 20K Maiden Claiming race at Santa Anita on 6/8. Nothing to Hide shipped in from Golden Gate after her race there did not fill. We think she may take a step forward when she gets off the Tapeta and returns to conventional dirt.

In other racing news...Humming Beethoven, True Visionary and Bullwhip will all be looking for a race in the next 30 days. We are excited to see our big boy True Visionary stretch out! Our undefeated stakes winner Red Outlaw continues to train forwardly and will be pointed to a stakes race at the upcoming Del Mar meet. Our 2 year olds, Chilled Mousse and Goose Bumps, (a few shares remaining) continue their training with conditioner Peter Miller at San Luis Rey and are also looking to Del Mar for their first race. Salute to Summer and Island Freedom are on their respective comeback trails and are doing well. Island Freedom has shipped into Mike Puype's barn at Los Alamitos and Salute to Summer is legging up at Magali Farm.
