Red Outlaw prevails in the El Cajon Stake at Del Mar and remains undefeated, Humming Beethoven goes for 2 in a row at Golden Gate on 9/1!

Red Outlaw, our amazing son of Tribal Rule, made it 5 wins in a row and remains undefeated after capturing the 100K El Cajon Stake at Del Mar on 8/29. Red Outlaw was going a mile for the first time in the El Cajon and sped to the lead outside, angled in and set the pace inside, shook off the bid of a rival leaving the second turn, kicked clear under urging and won by a comfortable 3 3/4 lengths. Red Outlaw has now won $285,000 for the Blinkers On Partners!

In other racing news...Humming Beethoven will go for 2 in a row at Golden Gates Fields on Labor Day. This is a Starter Allowance race going a mile on the turf course. Regular rider Russell Baze will be in the irons and Humming Beethoven is 3-1 on the morning line. Good Luck girl! Salute to Summer will being making her first start in a 5 1/2 furlong MSW race at Los Alamitos on 9/13. Salute to Summer has been training well for conditioner Mike Puype so we expect a good effort. Going forward we think she will only get better when she stretches out, she has a big long stride and being by Colonel John it makes sense. Island Freedom should also be making his first start at the Los Al meet if we can find the right race. True Visionary will go to post when the meet shifts back to Santa Anita. Kiss at Midnight continues to train forwardly at San Luis Rey for conditioner Peter Miller. Goose Bumps is under evaluation, she is such a big filly for a 2 year old, we may want to give her a little time to grow up mentally and physically. Finally, Off the Deep End will get a little R&R at the farm, he has earned it!
