| Smoke Over Water continues to put in stellar works at Del Mar. She had her first 5 furlong work on Friday, her time of 1:00.60 was 9 of 61 at the distance. She was tired after the work but it was just her first 5/8ths work and the Del Mar track is deep. The next condition book is due out in a week or so and we will point for a race. It look like she will get another couple of works in before her first start. Turbulent Descent had her first work last Tuesday. She worked 2 furlongs in 25.2 and galloped out 3 furlongs in 38.3. Mike was very happy with the work, just nice and easy. She will work 3 furlongs early next week and those works will be published online for those with virtual stables. High Test will have his first 2 furlong work the same day. Judicious is doing well at Legacy Ranch and will come in to GGF when Terry and Sean feels she's ready to start training. Finally, a couple of updates with our class of 2009. Royal Ravine has been sold privately and will become a broodmare. She should be a great mom with her looks and great disposition. Last but not least, Brought to Justice ran second at Santa Rosa yesterday and was claimed. We got a couple of nice wins with her and wish her new connections the best of luck. | |
