Magico wins at first asking! Magico came from just off the pace to break his maiden at Golden Gate Fields on Saturday the 14th. With Aaron Gryder in the irons, Magico broke alertly, dropped back just off the leaders, was sent four wide to circle the leaders into the stretch, gained command nearing midstretch and edged clear late. Congratulations! In other racing news, The Roan Ranger will run on Saturday at Santa Anita in a MSW race going 6 1/2 furlongs down the hill. The Roan Ranger is coming off a fine 3rd place finish in the same spot and should be super tough on Saturday. Good luck Ranger! Hidinginplainsight is training well and will run at the beginning on February. She is ready to go but we are waiting for 6 furlongs on the dirt and there was nothing in this condition book. High Test, Clearly a Cowboy and Turbulent Descent are all getting a short rest and will be back in training in the next 45 days.
