The Roan Ranger came up a bit short against a stellar field in the Alcatraz Stake at Golden Gate Fields on Saturday. He lagged the field early, giving himself too much to do down the stretch, ultimately finishing 5th. We are proud of the effort in his first stakes appearance. He has been shipped back to Santa Anita Park and we will be looking for a race in the next Hollywood condition book for the Ranger. Turbulent Descent continues to work well as she prepares for the Desert Stormer Stake at Hollywood Park on 6/17. She looks like a million bucks! High Test is also just a couple of works away from his first start following his vacation. He is training forwardly and we will be looking in the next Hollywood condition book for a race. Clearly a Cowboy is progressing nicely as he continues his comeback off the layoff. Hidinginplainsight will be sent to the farm for 60 to 90 days following a minor procedure. And finally, Running Water, our latest purchase at the OBS 2 year old in training sale will be coming in from the farm to begin his training on or about 6/3.
