The Del Mar meet is in full swing and the Blinkers On Racing Stable partnership will be active in the coming weeks. Square Peggy will make her second start in a MSW race for Cal-bred 2 year old fillies on 8/15. She showed speed in her first start, she is training well and her conditioner Brian Koriner has strong 2nd start numbers so we are looking for a big effort from our girl. The next Blinkers On runner to go to post will be our 3 time stakes winner Right Hand Man. He will enter the starting gate on 8/17 in the Green Flash Handicap. This is a 5 furlong sprint race on the turf with a 75K purse. He is coming off a strong 3rd in an open allowance race at the same distance and surface. We expect him to move forward in this race, it will be his 2nd start off the layoff and he is training like King Kong. Our next runner should be our handsome son of Kittens Joy, Cupid's Claws. This will be his debut and we are looking for a race long on the turf based on his pedigree and recent training. Finally, our star Steph Being Steph, will be seeing stakes action in the CERF Stake at Del Mar on 9/3 or the Beverly D. Lewis Stake at Los Alamitos on 9/8. Both races are at 6 furlongs and carry a 75K purse. On paper we like the Beverly D. because she would be facing 3 year old's only.

Don'tteasethetiger and Grinningeartoear, both the progeny of Smiling Tiger, are getting closer to making their first starts. Don'tteasethetiger is training at Los Alamitos under the eye of trainer Brian Koriner. Grinningeartoear is finishing her work at Legacy Ranch and will ship into Koriner's barn shortly. First Dudette, A Man's Man and Rose Dunn are getting a summer vacation and will be back in action this fall.
