The wait is finally over, the Del Mar meet starts on 7/15! Blinkers On horse racing partnership will kick it off on 7/16 with Look Me in the Eye. He will be teaming up Hall of Fame rider Mike Smith in a Starter Allowance race going 6 1/2 furlongs. Look Me in the Eye is "looking" for two in a row. Plane Lucky should be the next one up. Fresh off a 7 1/2 length Maiden score she will try grass for the first time in a 5 furlong Allowance race. Rafael Bejarano is scheduled to ride. We are crossing our fingers that she is ready to go, she spiked a temperature last week but seems to have bounced back. Maven Harry and Gee Street are going to be making their first starts in MSW (CA) two year old races going 5 1/2 furlongs. The boys race for Maven Harry will be run on 7/29 and the girls race for Gee Street is on 7/30. Finally, Last One Standing has a number of options but will most likely also be running on 7/30 in a 32K race going a mile on the grass for 3 year old's. This is only the tip of the iceberg for Blinkers On runners!

In other racing news...Blinkers On Racing Stable has made another private purchase. We are proud to welcome Gator Don't Play, a 2 year old colt by Decarchy, to the horse racing partnership. Tom Hudson, the farm manager at Magali Farm, was instrumental in getting the deal done. Tom raised the foal and also raised his dam and stands the sire. Tom said he was one of the most impressive babies he had on the farm and as a 2 year old this men among boys is a standout. Now let's hope he can run!
