NEWS

Red Outlaw guns for his 5th stakes win on 12/26 at Santa Anita in the G2 Mathis Brothers Mile. Humming Beethoven and Salute to Summer will try and start the year off right on 1/1 at Golden Gate!

Red Outlaw will try and make it 7 wins in 8 starts on opening day at Santa Anita. He will go to post in the 200K G2 Mathis Brothers Mile run on the grass for 3 year olds. He is the speed of the speed and drew the 2 hole so the instructions for jockey Edwin Maldonado will be simple, get the lead and make them catch you. Red Outlaw is 6-1 on the morning line. Good luck to the Blinkers On Partners!

In other racing news...Humming Beethoven will be looking for her 4th win and Salute to Summer will be trying to break through on January 1st at Golden Gate Fields. Humming Beethoven will be going a mile on the turf with all time leading rider Russell Baze in the irons while Salute to Summer teams up with jockey David Lopez in a Maiden Claiming 6 furlong sprint. Entries are on 12/27 so if their races go they both should have a BIG shot! We may also send Kiss at Midnight to post on 1/1 at Santa Anita in a Maiden 50K race for Cal-bred fillies. The race is at 6 1/2 furlongs and we would prefer shorter for a horses first start so we are still exploring our options. Goose Bumps continues to train forwardly at Santa Anita for conditioner Peter Miller and we expect she will have her first breeze since she was freshened in the next week or so. Our 2 Cal-bred yearlings will go back to training on 1/1 at Magali Farm and if all goes well ship to the racetrack in mid February. Finally, True Visionary and Off the Deep End are still enjoy a little R & R on the farm and will be back soon.

Happy Holidays to all and the best of racing luck!
