Mass Transit and Running Water both got to the winners circle for Blinkers On Racing Stable last Saturday. First it was Mass Transit with jockey Joe Talamo in the irons in a Maiden Special Weight Race at Hollywood Park. This 6 1/2 furlong race on the main track had a full field of 12 runners and Joe got Mass Transit to break alertly, then settle nicely behind the leaders, and then made a powerful sweeping move to grab the lead and get the win. Mass Transit took home the lions share of the 45K purse and also earned a 17.5K Cal Bred bonus for our horse racing partnership. Mass Transit is now be pointed to the 200K King Glorious Stakes at Hollywood Park on 12/22. Next was Running Water at Golden Gate Fields with Hall of Fame rider Russell Baze aboard. Running Water broke alertly, settled nicely, then made a 3 wide move into the lane, took command and drew clear driving. Blinkers On's thoroughbred horse racing partnershipcould have made it 3 for 3 but Top of the World broke poorly in aGolden Gate FieldsMaiden Special Weight sprint, spotting the field about 8 lengths, then flying home only beaten 2 lengths at the wire. The good news, he got a great education and we know we have a talented animal. In other news, High Test will go in a 6 1/2 furlong 25K claiming race on Sunday at Hollywood Park if the race fills. He is training very well and should be tough in that spot. Sole a Kiss is still on track for the 200K Soviet Problem Stakes at Hollywood Park in 12/21. Bullwhip, our handsome son of Benny the Bull, will make his next start in a grass sprint at Hollywood Park sometime in the next few weeks. Salute to Summer and Just Your Shadow are getting close to a start and Salute to Summer has caught the eye of trainer Mike Puype, sky's the limit with this filly! Off the Deep End, Nothing to Hide andRed Outlaw continue on their respective training scheduleswith Humming Beethoven, Island Freedom, and True Visionary enjoying a rest at Magali Farm. Finally, check out our yearling offering Chilled Mousse, just click the offering tab on our website. He is a very handsome colt and we think he is a real value.
