Old Pal, with leading Southern California rider Juan Hernandez in the irons, rode the rail to victory in the $150,000 Snow Chief Stake at Santa Anita. The Snow Chief, a 1 1/8th mile turf Stake, is the marquee Stake for California bred 3 year old's. Old Pal has never finished off the board in 4 lifetime starts with 2 wins a 2nd and a 3rd. In other racing news...Tiff With Jimmy will run in a MSW race at Los Alamitos in her next start. Music Festival will make her next start at the upcoming Del Mar meet as well as our new 2 year old filly, Fly at Knight.
Blinkers On is adding to the stable...we just completed a private purchase of a 2 year old Bolt d' Oro colt out of the Graded Stakes placed mare, Golden Domer. This strapping individual will be trained by conditioner Mark Glatt who was also responsible for the acquisition prior to the horse going through the ring at the upcoming OBS Sale. Our currently unnamed colt is also scheduled to make his first start at the summer Del Mar meet. Best of racing luck to all!
